Really? We are getting a fairly large group down to go.

For those that haven't been it truely kicks ass. you are sitting in the football stadium (which isn't that large) and they set off fireworks on the field. It's amazing. Far better than any other show I have seen. Engineers know how to do things. Plus with the mining background of the school, there will be a few sticks of dynamite set off.

We are meeting at my place and leaving around 7 (carpooling) if anyone is interested.

yes, but you have to remember that it is the stadium... whic means related to sports and outside... so no I don't go there much :)

Like toby said it's free and seats go fast, thus why we are getting there ~2 hours early. Seems every year more people come... probably because it's so freakin' cool.

I think we have 2 new small ones..and I ALWAYS have fireworks. Always.

Its too bad I havent been to Montana any time recently..I'd pick up some good stuff and do like an "after-show-show" I can get class B stuff too! :)

Good point..I think the only times I ever went up to the stadium at MSU was to shoot the potato gun...I've heard that the play football there every now and then?

COme 4th of July You might be my best friend. Three years ago we did a show at the house, ended up having the whole hood in my front yard,(100 people) My neighboor (firefighter) said I would do no less than 10 years for what I did that night. :cool:

Did I ever tell you about my run in with the ATF? I thought I was going to be on a first name basis there for a while..it all worked out however. Nothing too dramatic happened on my end. :)

Show was awesome. Lots of lights and lots of *boom*. Before the show, Mike and I helped our eyes to some nice young candy.

So where did you guys all sit? I was on the west side of the stands on the bleachers right next to the grass area where a bunch of people were.

I was standing off to the right of the bleachers getting the full shockwave of the explosions. The "missles" kicked the most ass

We were near centerfield just past halfway up the bleachers.

I like how big the fire on the northwest end got until the fire truck got there.

a lot more changes this year than they have done previously.

That last one at the end was amazing. The one kind of left of center that shot up the huge flat stream of fireworks, it almost looked like a waterfall that was 20 feet wide. That thing kicked ass.

Dynamite is always fun too :)

I got to sit right on the track. where the stairs go down to the field.

We followed that up by filling up the school bus we rented to take people to our party.

Were they actually using dynamite? Mostly smelled and sounded like flash explosives to me..I'm such a fireworks geek..hehe.. :)

Really good show however..definately not the "big budget show" style..but you can definately tell they put some planning into it..and made it fun for the crowd. I would have given them a real "cherry bomb" to light at the beginning however..that was funny as hell. :)
