Well, he blew it up as soon as he got it, but apparently it's a turbo B18C1. I think it ran a 13 or something when the previous owner had it. All he'd need is a 14 though. I think Newt's (a guy on here) supercharger Type R ran a 15.1 or something.

Yeah... The guy who owned the car before me ran low 13's on street tires... I'm thinkin 12's would be cake on slicks... I still need a fuel system and brakes but thats about it.. oh yeah and a radiator.. The bottom end is built the head is stock (paragon tunings race hatch runs a 10.5 with a b18c1 w a stock head) and i want to keep it stock for emissions purposees... I have a turbo w/intercooler, race clutch, interior half stripped (none of that rice crap, it still has an interior just new seats and the rear seats removed and thats abou it..)it's really fast.. oh yeah, kyb shocks w/comptech springs and KONIG zeige rims.. I like your car dude.. post pics!

but I know a guy with just headers and exhaust that ran a 15.88 on a kia spectra.
just goes to saying that all 4 cylinder engines made in that part of the world are all the same.
some are more expensive than other, and have some performance edge, but they are all so close
