Which style s/c would net the most HP?
Which style s/c would be the least troublefree?

Tobi can you get this?? GB??

I'm not digging the garden hose mod..looks fun otherwise however. :)

I can get it but a-j racing is SLOWWWWWWW to get stuff like that.

I kinda like teh garden hose mod, Im headed to home depot right now.

I dont think the kit is ready anyway Kwando. Notice the belt doesnt even go over the alternator? I think it is still in design stages.

is the supercharger pulley on an electric clutch?

If that's an eaton blower, honestly I would highly suggest a lysholm blower instead. It almost looks lysholm anyways since it doesn't appear to have a large plenum to compress the air into, lysholms compress within the blades, unlike eaton air pumps. :)

thats badass I just threw away 3 water hoses they were weay bigger then those ;)

It more or less resembles an eaton blower. But the EM clutch on it indicates a lysholm S/C.
At least my Lysholm has one too.
I wonder what they're doing with the nitrous setup and why?
That would be insane--S/C+N2O=WOW

Plus you can cool down the Vortec charge. I don't see much cooling available, a lot like the JRSC.

Look closer alex, NAWZ cools better than an air/water.

Yes mav, its got a clutch on it like in Mad Max. Push the button and WOOOOOOOOSHSHHHHHH! Kinda stupid if you ask me, the car would run like ass trying to pull air through a stopped blower.

I agree. But Nizzawwws is more expensive to use just to cool the charge.

Unless you make a bypass chamber that also is actuator controlled.
It would have to be the same size as the TB for an S2 though..They require a buttload of air when N/A..

Wouldn't it only require a buttload of air when you got your foot in it? For part throttle cruising with the throttle plate mostly closed I'd think a small bypass would be sufficient. If you have the throttle plate open a significant amount, then the bypass should close.

Yes ..True..
But take into consideration that the jacksons S/C also keeps the rotors moving. They equalize the pressure on both sides of the rotors(to reduce parasitic drag).with that in mind if the rotors are barely moving and you apply instant boost the transition would be very hesitant. If you had a large bypass valve with dual step staging it would help the transition to boost..
I'm no expert on blower technology, but I've learned a few things(mostly the hard way)

I understand. Doesn't the SC Mercedes have a clutched Roots setup? I know I've seen that on something. It would be interesting to see how they do it.

Yeah MB uses EM clutches on all that i've seen so far.
They also have a lysholm for the AMG C32 with a clutch on it(this is the one I want to use)
I'm still researching their technology and methods. So far I havent found anything useful regarding drivability with the S/C yet!

Does it spin the right way?

I've seen Autorotor Lysholm setups (Kenne Bell kits on Mustangs) that don't use a clutch, they just have a small bypass like the JRSC kit, so I'm guessing you could run it clutchless.

It spins clockwise. So I'll just have to be crafty and use my imagination.
