No photochops here, only resizing and cropping.
Could not sleep in San Diego last week so I went out and filled up a few memory sticks. got tons of shots but the conditions were very difficult to see how well anything turned out. TOok tons of shots but here are the highlights:
oh, and one of the only cars I liked at the carshow is an added bonus...

Fucking woodys. Seriously.
Anyway, your shots looked like a lot of mine from London. That place is always overcast anyway. I ended up erasing all the pictures off my computer they were so shitty.

gee thanks
Haha, well, only the two in the middle there. LOL, I didn't realize what an ass I sounded like. LOL hahahaha. Oh man, I never thought two words could crack me up so much. *snicker*, anyway, your pictures were taken at night, most of mine were taken during the day. I've got a much shittier camera. heh.

Hey how do you post pics? I try all the time and it says my pics are too big. How can I downsize them or any thoughts on posting pics. Thanks.
This was Jess standing across the Prime Meridian. This was about as bright as it got, and one of my better pictures. :)

I stayed at the Marriot over in the background last Fall. I walked around and partied over in their "lodo" part of town too. Unfortunately, I was there when the fires were going on so it was really cloudy and smoky.

I saw a woody thing just like that too..different color however, and it was lowered! Surprised me when I saw it drive by..I was thinking.."THAT is totally California" cool ride.

You need to open tehm up with photoshop or MGI or whatever photo editor you have and resize them. then either attach them to a post or put them in the gallery.

Did you try playing with the picture modes on your camera at all? I was trying a few different ones and found that I could get the exposure time high enuf to actually get a fair amount of light in there. I've never used a Sony cam tho..it does look like it was really dark AND foggy? when you were taking those? Some cool effects on your pictures however..would be fun to play with them in photoshop. :)

I was just asking because on my monitor at home, some of those pictures look like the "digital" channels that comcast provides. *pixalition*

Really? I havent seen them on a CRT so I wouldnt know..I'll have to check it out just to see if you are on crack or not. :) The are compressed a bit to get them to 800x600...but I cant see anything obvious about them. Anyone else think they look bad or weird?

All the pics look fine to me. Nice ones by the way.
The beach looks fine, but the sky is all pixelated. That's all, I think it's just the compression.

I have done just about everything that the little sony digicam can do. (it is 4 years old)
THe darkness was the effect I was after, the giant warships sitting there rusting away in silence had an eerie feel to them thats why they look the way they do. When I get a real cam I will drag my pod with me to places like this and shoot about 1000 pics to get them the way I like. But for a stroll in the night this will do.
Tobi, I looked at this thread today at school and there was a big difference. At home, the plane picture is completely black. So you can rest easy tonight, knowing that you don't suck as a photographer.

I think I have the same problem. A lot of them just look black. I'll have to check it out on another monitor when I get home.
