Lost remote and lost settings and need a remote to tune

I have a Sony Headunit that has no buttons on the outside for tuning it so I had to use the remote. Well I lost the remote a couple months ago and then 2 weeks ago my battery died and I lost all the sound settings I had so now it sounds like almost stock. If anyone knows where I can buy a replacement remote for a Sony HU or has a Sony remote I can borrow to test if it will use the same frequency I would really appreciate it.

Infrared or wired? I have a wired one somewhere.

wired I am pretty sure cause there was no bulb on it to be infrared. I dont know a lot about audio so not sure.
