Beta testing new search engine

I have started a new more robust search engine over at www.performancefinder.com (http://www.performancefinder.com). The new search engine is much like google in that it actually indexes the pages of websites. You then search the results and it displays the listings. I have integrated the search engine into all of my websites as you can see on the top of this and every other page. Right now the search engine only has indexes of highaltitudeimports.com and sportcompactracing.com, but many other automotive websites will be added shortly. This gives us a chance to test things out with a small set of pages (300,000-400,000). Anyhow, try it out and let me know what you think.

I like it, but the pages seems kinda empty what about pic's? ;)

pages seem empty? It is indexing the archive here which has no images. That way I don't have a bunch of bs listings that are hard to read. If I can get our robots.txt file tweaked enough I may index the forums themselves though.

Oh do you mean the main search page? If so that is intentional. I want to keep the search engine as fast and simple as possible just like google ;)

The search engine is back online. Now it contains links from sportcompactracing.com, domesticracing.com, highaltitudeimports.com, 42draft, pttuning, and a few others. Enjoy and let me know if you have any issues. I'll be checking things over i nthe coming days and making adjustments before we add more sites.
