Hey all,

Thought I'd post in the n00b forum to let everyone know who the heck I am.

Transplanted Alaskan who is starting his first real job out of college. Just graduated from a college in Montana and need to start repaying those dang student loans ;NutKick; so the job is helping. I'll be in the Denver area for 6 months and then who knows where (New Mexico to North Dakota are my possible locations)

Hit me up on ICQ or MSN if anything is coming up in the area or within an easy drive.

We have another alaskan on the board. I'm surprised no one told you. He'd be talking to you already, except I think he's driving here right now.

He's neither. Hey! Do you live by any of the places I saw in that movie Balto? That was a good movie.

 Balto... Nah. I'm about 20 miles north of Anchorage.

Neither eh? That's impressive. Going from Alaska to Texas normally means you're either Army or Air Force... or you work for somebody like BP or ConocoPhillips. Hope he's getting used to the flat land.

Hey! What school did you go to? MSU? University of Montana? One of the others?

I'm a Montana native and went to MSU (Bozeman) myself..so welcome to HAI! :)

Kind of in between (location). I went to Montana Tech. Yeah I know... I survived more than 4 years in Butte :D

Thanks for the Welcome Bedlam. Where in CO are you located at? Just curious since the Westminster/Thornton/Northglenn guys are having a gathering next Friday, the SoloII comp on the 22 and then the Leap Day Cruise at the end of the month. It would be great to meet somebody else who knows that when I talk about the M&M, I'm not talking about the candy.

Butte eh? I'll just assume you didnt drink any tap water for those 4 years..or you wouldnt have made it out. At least without a few spare (or lacking) body parts. Of course..a spare arm might be cool!

I live in Broomfield..so definately in the area..a lot of us "north" denver peeps meet up for dinners and stuff during the warmer months..definately have to catch up with ya sometime. :)
