A buddy of mine got a GSR motor, tranny, ecu, mounts and axles, and we plan to put it in next weekend. My question is, what other little parts/things will he need to get, things that we possible looked over or forgot about.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
BEN

I think you need to get special engine mounts to drop a B18C into the EKs

U need the rear b16a SI mounts, the one that goes in the back of the motor.
but i think u can reuse some of the stock one from the EK

I thought that the 99 EX has a d-series SOHC motor... I didn't know you could use d-series mounts with b-series engines.

Im pretty sure we all knew that. You cant use d sreies mounts on a b series motor, thats why BLACKCIVICTURBO said to use Si mounts (aka) b16 in an ek civic

Well if you'd read highlife's post, you'd see this:
yes I said "I Think" Im not sure. i swap B18 and B16 into EG and Ek but i never swap one into a EX EK model.

You need side mounts from the Timing Belt cover..The GSR will not fit with the SI mount
