Compatibility question?

Will a D16y7 motor(97civic dx) bolt into my 90crx si if i kept the si's intake manifold, distributor, ecu,tranny... and is the wiring worth it. Any links that i can read about this swap? Thanks

You can do it but the wiring would be a little tough. Also there will probably be some cooling hoses and shit that might be different. It can be done though. Why are you trying to do this? Just get a cheap motor or something?

Its the only motor i can find. I'm looking for the 92-95 sohc vtec or the zc, but all i can find is this one from a 97, believe me i don't want to do it but its my last resort, you friend matt wanted 700 for a zc, a little too pricey for me right now. but this guy want 250 for a 97 dx motor. And my other car won't pass emission. Arrgh the headache i think i need to head to bed right now. Thanks for all you help so far.
