That's really cool, but I wonder what the power source is? Or how you open the lock if the key fob battery dies. I guess having a hatch isn't that big of a deal though.

That should be pretty easy, but of course that site I posted doesn't seem to sell them individually.

Doesn't seem like a bad idea in addition to an alarm...but where can we get this for a reasonalbe price....the website posted has it at 200 bucks for two doors worth....which will get a little pricy when I equip my WRX Wagon with this...5 doors...now that price tag adds up to another performance part that could make me go faster.
