I am going to post this in a couple forums guys. But lastnight at around 1230 my sisters boyfrined had his truck stolen from in front of my house. He went out started it and came in for no more than 2 minutes to say bye to my sis. Please keep any eye out for it. It is a 2001-2001 Chevy silverado (1500). It is white with grey on the bottom panel of the truck. Some distinguishing things on it are a white fiber glass cover over the bed, an american flag sticker on the back window, and a spiderman ball on the antenna. If anyone sees it please call the police or let me know. I can be reached at 719-491-5825

No joke man, especially since I can't lock the driver door when it is just idling.

When did he buy that truck? Must have been fairly recently. I'll keep an eye out for it.

I hope he had insurance on that thing, that was a quick job. Might be someone who was following the guy.

Holy shit I thought by the title they stole your truck. Bastards.

I always start mine to warm up but I lock it and sit in the bushes with a shotgun.

It is his dads truck, but his dad never uses it so he drives it all the time.

I do the same as you Tobi, when I start the stroke in the mornings I just lock it.

Thats what I do. I start it, lock the doors and use my extra key to get back in.

They recovered the truck tonight. It turns out it is a local skin head that stole it The police officer was behind him on 21st and attempted to pull him over.
The guy decided to run and got air in the truck a couple times. He then decided to ditch the truck near a liquor store and took off on foot. Another unit chased him and did not catch him, however, they were going to go put in a warrant for his arrest and pick him up later on this evening since they know where he lives. They also pulled his finger prints from several places on the truck. He had clothes, tools and an air compressor on the truck that he had also stolen since sunday. he had also put 2000 miles on the truck since then. He had also gone through the trouble of getting a temp tag put on it. They also stole the fiberglass cover that was on the bed. Other than that it was in good shape, so hopefully nothing is messed up from him gettin air.

I wouldn't go around telling your insurance company that he left the car running outside. That's illegal and they won't pay for anything, and maybe even terminate your policy. Well, at least I could see my insurance company doing that. Fuckers. Insurance is legalized extortion.

Its not illegal, it is still covered under my policy. It falls under a "stupid" act.

Hehe, it actually is illegal to leave your car running while unattended. My friend learned the hard way.

I don't think it's illegal, I'll check with my mom though.

EDIT: Okay, my mom isn't here right now, but as far as my dad knows, the city of Denver just passed a law saying that it's illegal; so it wouldn't apply to Steve's sister's boyfriend, or whatever.
