Looks like a decent notebook..if you dont buy one from me...a VAIO or a Dell would be all I'd recommend. Havent played with any of their high end stuff yet tho' looks like it could use a little better video card...but otherwise seems solid.

How much for a new VAIO lapper Mike? My HD is still acting up and I am finally giving in to the possibility of needing a new CP.

We dont sell anything but our own brand..but almost everyone is building their notebooks out of the same parts these days. I really like the VAIO because they have a really good warranty..and decent turnaround system if you have any repairs.

If you want a nice centrino..you are looking in the $1200 - $1600 range..of course I'd give anyone a better price, just depends on what kind of features you want.

I really like this one myself..

*edit* I actually just noticed that one he posted is not a centrino..its just a p4 1.8..no wonder its got the lower end video card..seems kinda cheezy to me. If you care about battery life at ALL...be really careful about getting a normal p4.

After reading that ad a few times..I'd kinda wonder about the business practices of the poster...it really seems like they are trying to say its a Pentium M cpu...(which would make it a centrino) they just arent really using the proper terminology for what they are selling there....for a regular 1.8GHz notebook..thats kinda spendy.

Their battery life ratings are also a total lie.. :(

Yes, regular p4s are not good for a laptop :)
