ok i found out what was wrong with my idle before, i had the MAP sensor and the TPS sensor switched, stupid me. Fixed it, and it idled perfectly. So i take the car out and about to put some miles on it. Its driving fine and everythings great but i need some gas. i pull into the gas station and right before i stop i hear a weird noise almost like i drove over something, check, nothings there but some white smoke did come out just as i shut down. So i fill her up (91 of course) and she starts up, makes that noise again and shuts off. i do the usual routine checks and take the plug wires off. shit, theres fucking oil in the spark plug cylinders. lots of it. i clean them off, soak up as much of it as i can and put them back in. She starts up, but sounds like shes missing bad. i drive her home, lucky i live real close and shut her down for the night. idea's anyone?

Bad valve cover gasket(s) and oil is leaking into the hole and filling it up causing misfires.

There are 4 round gaskets included with the valve cover gasket kit. I've seen these leak on Hondas all the time, try using some silicone sealer on them.

If it's a new motor, I would change the oil at 2,000 miles and just check the plugs to make sure there's nothing funky there.

Plugs: 30k
Oil and filter 1500 after break in and 3k after that.

Did you put new seals on or did you forget them entirely when you built the motor?

i put brand new seals on it. i bought a valvecover gasket kit, that came with the valvecover gasket, those 4 seals and some other stuff i dont remember. thats why i dont understand why theyre leaking so much.

Joo fuked up somewhere. They normally wont leak unless they are pinched or have 150,000 miles on them. Silicone sealant will also make them leak. I put them on clean and dry just like Honda wants.

Is it all 4 or just one?

my g/f has the same problem on her car, but there is no performance problems.

Not on a B. On older Ds it would go between the cam mounts and head but you dont have those problems. Its an easy fix as long as nothing is really messed up.

nothing is really messed up as in? what could be messed up from oil leaking in there?

Dont know, id have to look at it. FI the head has ever had machine work done to it theres a possibility of an improper cam line rebore. That is highly unlikley but you never know. Until you go out and pull the valve cover off we will never know.
