Use it. I've seen this same question posted about 50 times in the last month.

search is your friend. There are OBD2x to OBD1 converters out there.

Um, according to State law, you have to follow the emissions of the year of the engine you are using.

So, techincally it would be against the law to convert and OBDII motor to OBDI.

Just an FYI. I don't really know how observant the people are at the E-testing places.

You can convert the harness thats already in the car if youre smart enough. But you will need and OBD-I dist and ECU.

All you need is a 94-95 GSR distributor and ecu. all else should work as long as you do the wiring correctly to the ecu.

kinda like what this man says here. I guess I'll never beat the GHANDI..especially on the racetrack.
Hey Ghandi... I took your advice... I moved back to the mile high city...

obd2 comes with a crank sensor so u wouldnt need to hook that up...plus ur puttin a 99 gsr into a 92 civic? all u need is a ex harness and obd1 gsr ecu...u would need to switch ur injectors..or u can re-wired it..every thing else should be plug-n-play

dont forget he would also need an obd1 distributor as well.
the obd2 used the front crank sensor and eliminated one from the distributor so it wont work with the obd2 distributor..
