Sport Compact's winner for street car of the year is a supercharged 350z. Even though it had the lowest peak power and lowest power delivery out of all 10 cars. It won on looks, and comfort, and managed to come 2nd in the road course. The skyline was going to win it all, but it blew up on the last straight on the road course. aaaahhhh. Good stuff.

That's actually pretty suprising tho, that sucker was probably laying down like what? maybe 300 rwhp? If your talken about the stillen then that kit sucks unless you have the IC along w/ 7psi, otherwise if it's the ATI, i'll shut up cause i'd be happy with 370 @ 7psi :) Well actually ~420rwhp @ 9 psi would be more like it

The MR2,both Eclipses and one of the other cars had some issues and couldn't complete some the tests unfortunatly.

Man even Scot Gray's? I figured for sure he'd have his DSM last through the whole thing

It was funny. After the black eclipse lost boost, he ran a 18.15 quarter. DSM without a turbo for you.

No, the silver eclipse finished the whole thing in 2nd place overall. How does he fit that intercooler in the bumper? It's dunking huge!

was that the issue were the Eclipse had the t66 turbo with the custom front mount

It's this month's issue with the 350Z on the cover.
But all I have to say is too bad there where so many broken/breaking cars. They sure made some impressive numbers.
how did the ultima gtr do?

Not too well. Had a bad set of cams, so it lost a lot of points on fuel economy, emmissions, and drivability. It did really well in the performance stuff though. Ended up in fourth.
The impressive thing was that the silver Eclipse, despite a huge oil leak still ran 12.5 with a trap speed that was over 120 (so it should've run an 11)!
The bad thing was that the Skyline had the contest in the bag till itsbearings lost oill pressure, and the coolest car, the MR2 blew a head gasket.
