It looks short...like the 1/8 mile.

That's a little slow for that car in the 1/8, especially if it passes a Supra that was given a head start. I'm guessing it's length is in meters, and not equivilent to 1/8 or 1/4 mile.

Well they run what, mid 13s at sealevel? That sounds about right....But the speed is what's bothering me, what's the miles - km formula?

Afaik, they run low 14's in stock form, although that's not a stock M3. I think a high 9 in the 1/8 would be closer to 16's in the 1/4.
