Hey Tobi, this may turn out to be a stupid question, but it's got me stumped. I have brake fluid dripping off of the oil pan in my 86 crx si. Yeah, brake fluid...from the oil pan!?! I checked all the brake lines that I could find and none were leaking, I don't know why or where there would be brake fluid running to the engine. I know that it isn't coming out of the oil pan(I'm honestly not retarded) but that is where it's dripping from and I don't have power steering so it can't be that. Any ideas what might be going on here?

Did you check the master cylinder and the lines going to and fro?

yeah, I checked the master cylinder, the brake booster, the dual proportioning valve and all the lines I could see...

My guess would be something pertaining to the clutch, maybe the line for that is leaking?

I hope not, I don't really want to take all of that apart to try and fix it. But I will look into that as soon as I get off work tommorrow. You could be right.

The clutch is cable not hydraulic. It is most likely the brake master cylinder but without seeing it up un the air anything is possible.

Nope, turns out I'm not retarded, one of the guys at work got under my car and poured brake fluid on the back of my engine. haha he's so funny. But I got him back, yesterday he had to work and I didn't, so I called his wife and asked what brand of deadbolts they had and told her what was up. Before she left for work I went to Wal-Mart and got 2 new deadbolts and installed them at his house, I gave her a key and she agreed to turn off her cell phone so he couldn't call her. When he got home he spent 2 hours trying to figure out why his key wasn't working...
