What car are you using it on, just out of curiousity? Which HKS unit were you using?

Have you considered a good ball & spring manual?

I've use a the hallman valves on most of my turbocharged cars over the past bunch of years, with excellent results.

I'm with John. I've been running the same Hallman for 4 years and never had so much as a hick-up from it.

thats why I asked it has to be an EBC.

Also if you're concerned with cockpit adjustability, Hallman has an extension so you can do that. Pretty convenient.

Profec B Spec II blows, you're better off with a fisher price valve kit. Get the original Profec B, its awesome.

I have personally used a Blitz DSBC-TypeR. Was a good unit with 4 different preset boost channels. Then I went to the Apexi-AVC-R and that is still my favorite EBC since you have 2 boost channels and you can change boost settings every 500 rpm and run different boost levels in each gear. It is probably more BC than most people need but I also liked monitoring TPS, RPM, injector DC if you want to with it as well.

I personally prefer a good EBC because I like to run different boost levels at the flick of a switch from inside the cockpit personally. Nothing wrong with manual BC just like EBC they are not for everyone.
