Hello, well it seems like there is a new hangout for the Littleton / Highlands ranch kids..and its getting pretty big. It's at the Texaco/starmart gas station on 470 and Quebec. People start showing up every day at 10pm if the weather is nice. Drop on by, its imports and domestics..but everyone is cool.

For me the operative word was "kids". I don't want to get popped racing a bunch of kids. That'd look really good - a guy old enough to be their dad out encouraging them to perform driving feats which are outside of the law.

To John: I am sorry to inform you but the age group that hang up at Texeco/Taco Bell ranges from 16 to 37. I just wanted to let you know that some kids do stop by but the majority of us that have started the hangout are 18-24. It would be awsome if you would cruise up here and hang out with us some time. Most of the time we just hang out and talk about cars and women. Not to many of us race around here because of the traffic and the police. If you know anyone else who wants to come bring them we would love to have more phat ride up here. Hit me back and maybe we can all meet up. Talk to ya later.

I have been up there a couple of times. seems that the kid sthere are nice. Not a lot of fast cars but there were some older v8's up there i would have liked to get my hands on..

I don't remember the guy's name, but he drives a heavily modded 3000 GT VR4 Spyder. I'm sure you've seen it around, it's got a Veilside kit, red/black paint, custom leather, etc. etc. etc.
Seems like a pretty cool guy.

There are lots of rumors about the car. One is that he runs 12's, the other is that he's pushing somewhere in the neighborhood of 600 HP.
I've heard that a particular H22 Civic ran door to door with him, though.
It's a real nice car, regardless of the rumors.
Just FYI - I spanked him HARD with my old ~400 hp DSM. The question to ask him is "Do you remember a silver 1st generation Eclipse with '2 litre' license plates?" :)
Not only spanked him, but slaughtered him. However, that was a couple yrs ago...
I despise that paint job - it makes me want to, well, hurl. :)

His car has the average mods nothing special! He is upto stage 6 which is only 13g hks turbos and 550cc injectors. His car would run low 13's up here maybe high 12's. The spyders interestingly enough only weigh 100pds more than the vr-4's!

John's DSM ran 12.1s at Bandi and to be honest I don't think your car would have even been close in a full standing start race.
Come out and run it so you have some hard numbers so we know what the car runs.
Or better yet,use my car to judge yours,I run very consistent 13.63-.66s.
I'm not being a dick but if you don't actually run it at the strip or against another known car then you're just bench racing. I see you around on a regular basis and would be very willing to engage in a friendly race,you just name the time and place.

I give your car a low 14 at best (and yes I have seen it, several times. I even gave you a length of vacume tube at Taco Bell one night to fix it). If john raced you in his DSM, you would have lost and lost bad.
You've got a nice car, not my style but it's still nice. However john had as much money into his motor as you've got into your paint and interior. His DSM would have destroyed your car, and no amount of "it's old", "it's ugly", "Mine cost more", "I won a car show" or any other excuses are going to change that.
This is a performance board. The only thing anyone cares about here is how fast you are, and you are mid pack. If you want props for your paint job maybe you ought to go visit www.costreetracing.com or even better Super Street Magazines web site.

I think everyone needs to step back on this and realize that Heinrich has a nice car with the only hks turbo upgrade available for his car. Thats right. THE ONLY. The shop he used was the major HKS dealer back in the day and that was what was hot. This car might be mid pack in the 1/4 but it is funny how this shit was done 4 years ago and he is still mid pack. Stop upgrading hp on your car and 4 years and lets see how fast you are.
There are many cars around now that would lay the hurting on heinrich. As a matter of fact i have about 16 supras that we have worked on that would. Most of these supras would tear anything on this board a new asshole. Does this make your guys car not as good or make it so you need to find a new board to post on? NO! This just means there are faster cars than yours.

And you're right, when it comes to 1/4 mile times I am in the lower half but when it comes to other competitions like autoxing or a road course I'm in the top ten overall and I'll back that up with money. If I wanted a fast drag car I wouldn't have bought a Type R.

Since John no longer owns his DSM I'm willing to take up a race and see where the 3000GT stands,I am by no means saying I'm faster but why not find out? I do have about a 1000lb weight advantage.

im all about being different.......i think that is why i like spidermans car so much. at first when i saw it i thought that the car had racing stripes. but then as i looked closer found out that the yellow stripes are the center lines of the road and the black was the pavement..........cool.
that is one of the main reasons i didnt buy a civic......to be not like everyone else. even with my celica i like being different. i would never buy the trd body kit for my car because so many people have the same body kit. my celica has a custom exhaust that comes out the middle..........very different!"chicken:

P.S. If you want to race the Integra then you'll probably win on the strip but he'd kill ya' on the autox course which your car isn't made for.

I know it's kind of a long ways away, but they don't hold a lot of these events.
I will be there. If you think you can take me, by all means feel free to show up. In fact I would like to put a little money on it. Does $200 sound reasonable to you? You shouldn't have too much to worry about, after all you will only be competing against an overpriced FWD economy car...

1. I admit I can't win a drag race against your car. I firmy believe that I will whoop your ass at any other competion of speed though.
2. Street racing is for punk ass high schoolers. I'm not some Fast and the Furious stunna who lives his life a quarter mile at a time.
3. Why bother anyway? From what I've seen even if I do win you'll still tell everyone that you won. You won't even admit that a Honda hatchback hung with you for a while before you beat him or that a 12 second DSM beat you. At the track there is no doubt because time clocks don't lie like people do.
BTW ......people like me double and triple the cost of a car just for looks........Because We Can!
Whereas a smarter person would have just taken the money and bought a turbo Porsche.

The people in that area are at the Borders...parking lot almost every night....but it get a little more packed on Wed and Sun night... I heard that on Wed at Mann...the Cops blocked all the cars in ...so they couldnt go.. and wrote them all tickets for loitering and tresspassing..... that doesnt sound like fun to me.
Tonight I hung out at the Hamburger Stand on 6th and Union....there were a ton of cars there. Mostly oldies stuff. Those guys gave me the dirtiest look....cause I was in a Jap Car. Huh, you call that slow? Dude they were beating you! :) I think they were doing pretty good with just their engines alone (no boost needed). The Venom 600 was running 13.6s I think which for the most part from what I could tell was stock. I'm thinking the 12 second vipers were spraying, but I can't back that up either. They may not be the most beautiful or inexpensive cars, but can haul ass pretty good stock.

The thing is the Spyder may not be mass produced but a 3000 GT is. The only thing special about your car is that it's a couple hundred more pounds heavier than a regular VR4, ohh and you have a convertible.
I really don't know what kind of car I would of bought back in 95 considering I was only ten and didn't pay attention to cars.

Actually a 3000GT VR4 Spyder weighs in at just over 400lbs more than the fixed roof version and to be truthful the Spyder gets beat in every performance test against the regular VR4,you paid for exclusivity and a secure hardtop convertible.

well...I'm not trying to judge you either way man...but if there are all these "fast" cars around...why dont we EVER see them at the track? I understand that not everyone like the racer atmosphere...all the import bashing at the Club Clash events just makes me want to try that much harder...but at the same time..I dont think anyone is trying to pick a fight with you because of how your car looks man..we just dont all "like" it...and so what? And honestly dude most people that go to the track are not teenagers, they are grown adults for the most part. I was just dogging the car in stock form and since you're not stock it is a moot (is that a real word) point.
I know I can't beat your car from a roll,I know you have more horsepower than me and weight means little when it comes to top speed. My car tops out at just over 150 while your car will cruise all day at it's speed limiter at 155mph but you remove that limiter and I think a 3000GT will do over 170 easily. MotorTrend said the VR4 is one of the easiest cars to drive at it's top speed since it does carry some weight.

Hrmm..have you ever been to the track on a Club Clash night? I think you are confusing the "racing" crowd..with the kiddies that show up for the "car shows" There are a few teens there sure..but most of them are pretty cool. If I had a quarter million dollar car..you can bet your ass I'd still be at the track every time I could..I like to race.

And exactly what the fuck does what someone drive dictate how much smack they talk? On club clash nights it's not about who's got the nicest most expensive car, it's about how fast they get to the other end, and how many times they do it consistent. I think that's why you didn't show. Hell, if showing off a however the hell much you have in your car is not your thing, show up, run, and take off. Lets face it.....the only reason my car was ever brought on this thread was cause somebody saw it at a gas station. Then all the liars came out wanting to claim they beat it.. If it was all stock...nobody would have noticed it.....it would have never been brought up on this website.....and you'd all be leaving me alone. You guys love the smack talkers and the liars... then when the "subject" comes on to set the story straight.....you all gang up.
So...I dont brag about my money...cause i spend everything I make.....I dont brag about my car...but I do back it up....There is always a faster car...there is always a nicer car.....there are always deeper pockets..... I have respect for the time and money youve put into your car but I guess thats not really my thing. You think you can come on this board and get our respect by telling us how exclusive your car is or how much money you make. This may work for all the "ricers" you impress at the taco bell but for 90% of the people here its about going fast. If I had 240,000 into my car you better believe I would take it to the track and do you know what...I know my car would run faster than 10 sec with that kinda money. Why whould you now take your car to the track. Whats the point of having that much $$ into a car and not seeing what It can run. Now this is not a matter of being "jealous" because yes I am content with my little VW. Theres a lesson in life that you have not learned yet. MONEY DOES NOT BUY YOU HAPPYNESS. nor does material goods. its the "free" things in life that are worth living for. Until you learn this lesson I consider myself 10 times richer than you. Last I checked 3000vr4's all came turbo.....awd......hmm.....subaru...awd...turbo... ..227 hp stock.
runs low 15's at this altitude stock....I have a feeling ...you may have been a bit hard pressed to run a time like that stock ....in your 65k car....having a car payment like that on a car like that just makes me wanna..... regurgitate on its .....paint...!:spit:
