Turbo help

I am going to turbo my 90 integra soon and have one question, I have a slight leak in my headgasket, if I turbo it, will it blow the headgasket? Or am I going to have to fork out the money to do a rebuild first?

I would fix the gasket first. When you add the turbo your air will no longer be at atmosphiric pressure. As a consequence the inside of your head will have a higher pressure than the outside air. This pressure difference will exploite your leak and turn into a big problem.

As a general rule of thumb, don't mod a vehicle that isn't 100%

Fix your gasket or you'll need a whole new engine.

A leaking head gasket is bad. I've heard experts say that oil really goes to shit when you get coolant in it. A turbo would make the head gasket worse, make the engine more dependant on good oil, and depend on good oil itself.

not unless you have lots and lots of blowby, in which case your rings are shot and an oil leak is the least of your worries.
