Does anyone know where to get slim radiator fans for a reasonable price? Those flex-a-lite fans look nice, but are several hundred dollars. There has got to be reasonably priced alternatives out there...

Pepboys has them for a good price if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I think you can get some pretty cheap ones through Summit that are much less expensive than the ones they advertise in their sport compact catalog. However, I think that you need to make sure you get a shroud on there to make sure the air goes where you want it. That's what I hear anyway.

For my computer, a shroud (on my heatercore) helps eliminate the center deadspot.

Also makes sure the air doesn't go around the radiator, goes straight thru. Geez, you should know these things, you are admin on that water cooling site ;NutKick;

My fan pulls air through the shroud, there is less than 2% air loss through the heatercore. Maybe we are thinking of two different things here, because if you'd see how my heatercore/shroud/fan setup was, you'd see there is no way for air to go 'around the heatercore'.

*EDIT* Found a pic.
