Looking to buy 17-19 inch LCD monitor.

Looking for a new monitor. I want an LCD, 17-19 inches. Who makes a good inexpensive monitor? Where is a good place to shop online? Any other advice?

Good + inexpensive normally dont work well together with LCDs. I'd look at getting a Samsung, BenQ, AOpen or RealSync. Money well spent on most of those..maybe Neovo or a few other brands.

Definately look at redraw time and contrast ratio when you are shopping.

Good LCDs have a redraw of about 18ms right now, and a very high contrast ratio would be 800:1...I wouldnt bother with anything less than say a 500:1 or so..they would just look like shit..and prolly be a low quality panel.
