Hi Tobi, I was putting in new springs in the rear of my '95 civic. When I put the rear lower control arm back on. (the one with 3 bushings) I put the bolt closest to the inside of the car through, then I put the bolt that connects the control arm to the strut. Then when I was trying to put the last bolt through, it would go in one side, but it wouldn't match up and screw in all the way. the bushing in the control arm looked normal, and everything looked square, but the only way I could get it to stay, was to put the bolt in half way, then use a scissors jack and prop the control arm up to make everything center. (about 1/4-1/2 an inch) to make it so I could screw the bolt in. Is this common place in suspension assembly, or is there another way to do it. the control arm looks factory, and the bushing looks center and not worn out.

Thanks,

-Paul

Probably common. Not too often I ever see supsension components "line right up".

You did it right. It didnt line up because it is designed to line up when it is at rest with weight on it. In the air it doesnt line up very well. Nice work improvising BTW.
