Well my stereo and everything got stolen this weekend.
Was looking for just a deck that'll play CDs. Nothing fancy (unless it's cheap :) )

Damn, that sucks dude. No alarm?
I remember the one time I was really glad I had an alarm. I came home drunk and left my window down and my pullout stereo, yes pullout, in the car. Some fuckers tried to steal it and the alarm went off and they ran, leaving the stereo sticking halfway out. *Phewwww*

I remember having one of those pull out stereos back in the day (early-mid 90's). What a POS it was to.

funny thing is that I was going to buy an alarm this past saturday...but it got stolen friday morning. And of course they had to steal it when I hear about my grandmother passing away...
But I just want a cheap CD deck so I can have music in my car once again, it's weird without it. Oh yeah, they also stole my CD case....

I have a Kenwood KDC-7017 in the Civic that I'll replace eventually, maybe sooner than later. $100 and it's yours.

He'll need to make an adapter since they changed the plug design.

Yeah, I think it was '98 when they changed adapters on the civic. Or it could be '99. I forget.

e-bay is a good spot, or check your local pawn shops, you might get lucky enough to buy your old stereo back.
