An electric turbocharger, seen them before. Not like it's new, just like putting a leaf blower there.

Yes I know that it is old, but i'm reffering to the outrageous claims of power.

oh, hahaha sorry my bad.

it'd be funny if it actually did add 60hp...somehow...magically.

maybe if it was about 10 times bigger and had 50 horses but then it wouldn't really be practical for a gas engine.

just curious, anyone turbocharged should agree, adding extra air to the enginge in high volumes won't make power. It will just make you run VERY lean... if it gets enough air in could cause detonation, and would void any warranty. It just makes me wonder if the jack-ass that made it has actualy ever tried one.

The ECU won't let the motor go that lean, unless you've hacked the MAF and/or MAP signals. It monitors incoming air via the MAF (and MAP if so equipped) and will adjust injector pulsewidth (and timing) to match that volume of air.

If the airflow signal(s) exceed a predetermined threshold, the ECU will initiate fuel cut and/or self preservation (limp) mode.

$0.02 worth.

And - regarding these leaf blower "turbochargers/superchargers" - HAHAHHHAHHHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
