My friend put a FMIC on his car few days ago. He got it used and I'm not sure what brand it is I think its blitz. The intercooler is huge looks like its for a supra or something. After he installed it it was running fine at first but now it overheats after like 5 min of driving. What could it be?
I thought that its just too big and its blocking the radiator but I'm not sure about that. What do you think?

Are you sure its teh intercooler causing problems? Try checking the coolant, see if the fan is coming on that sort of stuff first before you blame the intercooler.

Is there anything blocking the front of his radiator (other than the FMIC)? I know my Integra was accumulating lint and other crap between the A/C condensor and the radiator, and I've heard of plastic bags and shit getting caught in there on some cars. Something like that combined with the reduced and warmer air flow due to the FMIC could cause the problem.

I'll have to check that out. Thank for the input.
