thermostat housing question... boring, i know, but it has pics!!

ok, im using a b18a block and i believe the thermoswitch is on the back of the block whereas on the b18b block its on the thermostat housing, right? i dont want to mess with extending wires on my harness to get it to reach to the back of the block so while i have to buy a new thermostat housing i was just gonna get an obd1 one. am i correct in this thinking? anyway heres the pic i promised...

ok, the green sensor i circled is the thermoswitch right? i also colored in where the new housing would go on the block, and thats where an obd1 sensor would go right? thanks in advance.

Yup, the B18B's thermoswitch is screwed into the thermostat housing.

For the thermoswitch or the housing?

My sources say 37760-P00-004 for the thermoswitch, and 19311-P2T-000 for the thermostat's outer housing.
