My car veers to the left and I suspect that my lower control arm is bent. I drive a 92 civic hb. Some other symptoms I believe is that my car looks a bit tilted to the right when I look at it facing the hood. The steering wheel does not wobble at high speeds (for me over 90 is high speeds) and it does not rub or make any noises. The space between the wheel well and tire is an in less on the left tire then it is on the right. Is it the lower control arm? I do not know how to replace such a thing. any advice? is it as hard or harder then it seems? Could I do it myself or should I let some who knows what they're doing do it? given Ive changed a flat but never anything past that.

Id have to look at it to tell if something is bent but an alignment shop can give you a better idea of how bent it is and if the frame is bent or not. I dont have an alignment rack so I cant really give you a exact estimate.

Sounds like what I had. My lower control arm, radius arm (you don't have one) and rear cross member were all bent.

I just had my cousin look at it and he says it could be a number of different things however It most likely is the lower control arm since I haven't gotten into any accidents, but have run over a curb or two. Slick. Anyway appreciate the advice. I just need some instruction manual on how to replace it or get with someone who does. I don't expect you to do it Ho.Gha. since Im relatively 2500 miles away or so.

That's what happened to my car, one of the previous owners hit a curb. The cross member (and those other pieces) are designed to bend so you are less likely to bend the frame.
