How about the Parking Lot by Dave and busters. It's in the back. When you take a right into the mall....take another right....follow that around to the backside of the mall and dave and busters will then be on your left.

i might be down, but i might be going snowbording. You guys should go the back way to central city then back down the normal way its a good drive i do it like once a week its fun. Not for the shity driver

I think the route will be chosen when everyone gets there.

Also at the jillians parking lot. Park as far AWAY from the cars as possible so we can see each other when we're coming in.

you all need to go up Golden Gate Canyon. lot of crazy S turns, non stop suspension tester and some good straight aways for fun.... Hell I would go but I got my kids. and last time I took them up there for some driving they both got sick...

well it was a fun, my accord did surprisingly well even on my stock wheels. some things went wrong during the day though.

1. the organizier of the event did not show up
2. chris's altima has water arounde his spark plugs so he had to leave his car parked in evergreen.
3. jason (Canuck) lost control of the rear end going downhill while taking a turn and did a little spin, seperating the rear tire from the wheel.
4. paul's talon ran out of gas in evergreen
5.when going back, dima and chris had a little accident in a 5 mph traffic.

but it was still fun nonetheless

Great cruise. We even ran into "that crazy guy who drives around Evergreen" (aka Paul aka Talonstylez). I don't know why people call him crazy... he only goes flying through the mountains on worn out tires that are showing cord, while white smoke is coming from the hood. hehehe.

The "incidents":

First, Canuck went off roading with the ass end of his RX7 and busted a tire bead. I was the lead car and was wondering why I didn't see anyone behind me, especially after I slowed down to let people catch up. I saw Paul come up behind me and I assumed everyone was just a little behind him, so I went all the way down the mountain. Then we stopped, wondered where everyone was, waited a few minutes, and went back to make sure everything was alright. We found everyone pulled over, trying to get a rear tire off of the RX7. Not only were the lug nuts horribly over tightened, but they were messed up as well. We hammered a socket on one and used my breaker bar to get it off. Then we had the lug nut completely stuck inside the socket and we still had another that we needed to get off. LeonZ used his mad skills to get it out, then we discovered that the spare had no air in it. So it was a slow drive the mountain for Canuck. But he got it to a Firestone shop and they remounted his tire for free. So I think he got out of it with just some scratches on his rim.

The other incident was in Denver on the way to Chris_venturi's house... I was behind him, and we were doing about 60 catching up to everyone else after we got stuck in traffic. Well, all of the sudden, there was a sea of brake lights ahead, then tires screetching, and clunk as chris rear ended wild_irish. It sent pieces of chris' grill flying and slightly bent some stuff, and wild_irish'es rear bumper got some paint damage and a little break at the bottom.

So, nothing too serious. It was just an eventful day.

I wish I could have gotten more in-motion pics with the camera out the window, but that's kind of hard to do while driving. You may have noticed that I'm sort of on the wrong side of the road in one of them.

However, one of my many unfinished projects is mounting a camera in my front bumper for racing purposes, so maybe I'll get around to finishing that before next time...

Well I had fun in the half hour that I was there. Sorry about 74, it would have been fun, but the goddamn traffic had its way.

A couple of other incidents:

I guess taikan got a little impatient when we were following the Cherokee on 74, so he pulls out to pass, gets by me, and there's opposing traffic! Good thing I was expecting something to happen, so I hit the brakes and let him in. Hearing locked brakes outside your window can be entertaining!

Just as we got out of that town, there was a long straight with good visibility, so Leon, me, and Weston passed the Cherokee. As we're doing about 80, I get pretty close to a bycyclist going the opposite direction. He was a little pissed at three cars coming at him at 85 :D

Too bad I had work, I wanted to do some more canyon carving.

Hahaha, yeah that bicyclist seemed a little bit upset. But I saw him there, so I wasn't going to hit him. Maybe he was flipping us off, I couldn't tell, but he stuck his arm out like an idiot as we were passing him. Things weren't close for me until he did that, but he can go ahead and be an idiot... I'm not the one losing the arm. It's probably only a matter of time until he flips off the wrong person and gets run over anyway...

I almost forgot about that punk in the Civic that was like trying to race us or something. The best part was when I was passing him on the other side of the road and he sped up in some pathetic attempt to block me, but he got schooled pretty badly. It's very satisfying when jerks try that shit. :D

I still think they deserve to be run off the road and beaten for doing that though...

all in all i think it was a great day. we could do better, but hey, this was like a mini rally, and what kind of rally it is if nothing happens?
but heck, i'm officially retiring myself from forthcoming cruises untill i upgrade my suspension, dammit. ;)

That was awsome times for everyone that showed up except for the unfortunate few who had a little too much fun. But luckily our accidents involved only forum members and no other people so we wouldnt have to worry about that or anything. When Chris ran into Dima I thought I was going to get ran into as well as I watched the whole thing go down in my rear view mirror. Poor guy in front of me probably that I as going to ram him as I was trying to creep up as much as physically possible to give those guys enough room to stop without running to me lol. The heart rate was around 300bpm during that time. Weston's car handled those turns like nothen and it was hillarious to see him doing some out the window shots, sweet sweet car man with all the work you've done to it, it was great to head back up north as we were going in the 100's on a bunch of parts through traffic :D . Awsome times every1, excluding the few unfortunate events, but look foward to the next get togoethers. And yes Dima, you need some madddd practice at Sega GT w/ the NSX LOL.

Sorry for not showing up. A lot of bad shit went down on friday night that kept me awake til 5:30 in the morning.

Glad to hear nothing serious happened and everyone had fun, nonetheless.

One of the scary things about canyon carving and mountain driving is other people behind and in front of you.

The best times to hit up Golden Gate Canyon is very late at night. I've gone there after midnight and there is still one or two cars.
