A buddy of mine is looking for the program Desktop Dyno 2003. He asked me to see if I could find someone with a copy, or someone who knows where to get it for relatively cheap. Anyone?

It's a program that allows you to basically biuld an engine in which you provide ALL of the measurements and specs of the motor and whatever aftermarket parts, turbo's, s/c's, nitrous, whatever and it'll tell you what kind of HP and TQ you may expect out of whatever motor you build.

Thanks Ryan. He has found it on the internet from the company that sells it, but he wants to know if maybe someone had a copy that he could buy for cheaper.

Yes it's realistic and I highly doubt you'll find it anywhere on the net. If so lemme know cause then I wouldn't have to buy it.
My dad actually built his motor on that program and it was only off by 3hp and 5tq. Pretty damn close if you ask me considering it's a 1800hp big block chevy.

Well through my friends and I...we found lots of programs taht thought people wouldn't be able to get.
hrmm maybe this would be good for my car...does it have any altitude corrections?

I dunno if it has corrections or not. I haven't looked at the 2003 version. I could look at the 2000 version but it's at my dads on his PC.

hrmmm. Sounds like an interesting program, even if it didn't have the corrections.
What is the estimated HP loss at altitude anyway?

You can find the 2000 edition on Kazaa, thats where my friend got it from. He said that it was very accurate until he wanted to add his Procharger setup onto it and the 2000 didn't have the new Progarger models on it. If I find the 2003 edition somewhere for free, I will let you guys know.
