Where did the phrase "All your ____ are belong to us" come from?

I can't remember exactly but it's kinda old and it was translated from Japanese and that's was the literal interpretation from I think a video game or something and got spread around the net.

The original was "All your base are belong to us" Do a google search for the flash animation and you'll find what started it.
Yea, it was a game. I don't think it's dumb at all. Infact it will be talked about 50 years from now in classrooms when people are learning about the history of the internet. It defined an internet culture that was already developing.
It is old though... i'm not sure what the most current catch phrase is, but here are some others:

yeah it was a game called "zerp wing" for sega genisis
it was not translated from japenese to english though
it was a futuristic style game that took place in the year 2000(remember it was made in 89) what "all your base are belong to us" is what the bade guy said to the character in the begining and thats the way they talk in the whole game w/ bad grammar and such

play the first one on the site thats the one that started it all there is an explination and everything there are also more "copy-cat" flashes on the site made after the origional was a hit
