Hey gang,
Well, like it says, I am new to this board. I've been on some Protege boards for a while now and stumbled onto this board looking through some stuff about dyno's in the Denver metro area.
Anyhoot, I have a Mazda Protege MP3, with a Flyin' protege turbo in. Still running the stock MP3 suspension (Racing Beat springs, Tokico HP struts, Racing Beat 25mm front bar and a Racing Beat 20mm rear bar), stock MP3 sound system (all Kenwood components, Z919 CD/MP3 head unit, 250 watts total, 100 watt sub), stock Racing Hart wheels and the stock body...
Look at my sig to see what it looks like.
I hang around the Grassroots Motorsports Magazine board as well.
Oh yeah, and "Hello everybody..."

Not yet...I would like to firm up some more of the suspension stuff.
I've wanted to autocross, but I don't get weekends off. ;UgH:

whats a "Flyin' protege turbo kit"
You noob Tim. You've never heard of www.flyinmiata.com? It's a company out here (Grand Junction) that makes the hands down best turbo kit for Miatas ever. They are famous for racing 300hp Miatas in SCCA events. Anyway, when the Protege came out they made one for them as well.
Hey new guy, did your kit come with the full standalone fuel managment system for it like the FM2 kit for the Miatas.

They (Flyin' Miata/Protege) aren't at that level of development yet for the Protege kits. Rumor has it that Link (the guys that make the engine management you are reffering to) are working on a new system for the Miata, some other car and the Protege.
It is expected to be better than the current set up for the Miata's, with full fuel and timing control, plus an acceleramotor, self tuning and learning, etc, etc, etc...
It's supposed to be fully plug and play, no wiring to really mess with. We'll see.
It'll probably be $$$$$ to get though.

tsitim - Yeah, stu is right. You should see some of the "gay" Miata's FM puts out over there. Some serious power that is useable as a daily driver. A 270 whp daily driver with a drop top is a pretty nice set up.
Particularly when you are talking about that power coming from a 1.8 liter motor on 12 psi of boost. They make some seriously reliable power over there.
And everyone else thanks for comments. The picture was taken up on Look Out Mountain Road, a couple miles in looking back on downtown. I almost got run over about five times trying to get that shot.
