67: Catalyst System Efficiency: System below threshold, bad catalytic converter

What the fuck does that mean? Its a highflo cat, and I'm pretty sure it's working just fine, it's probably only got 10-15K miles on it. Would this have anything to do with the evap purge or whatever? I get a nasty smell when I sit at idle or just start the car.

The system is detecting that the cat is not up to snuff. You have your secondary 02 after the cat right?

yeah, it's basically in the cat after the meshy internal screens. I pulled the ecu fuse and put it back in, and I haven't seen the code in three days so far, but then again, I haven't been driving on the highway either like I was that day. I still smell raunchy exhaust crap... I'm wondering if there's a leak between the cat and header or something, but there doesn't appear to be.
