Just installed everything at once.. JRSC, Hondata, RC440s, Comptech Intake, oil cooler. Plus adjusted the valves (.007-.008), new timing belt, waterpump, wires, distrib... The cam's and crank were aligned at TDC.

Anywise I've run into a couple problems:

1) My Hondata datalogger never connects.. just says "connecting". I've tried this with several of the serial Com port selections. Also I'm noticing a constant red LED light from the Hondata unit. Should this be green? I'm not getting any engine codes. I've got the EPROM in and turned correctly and the circuit mods to the OBD1 were done for me on a Hondata modded unit. Anyone know what else to try?

2) The second problem I've run into is at around 3300 RPM the car sputters. It seems to run fine up to 3300 with good f/a ratio. After 3300 the f/a gets into the 15's. The base map I'm using is supposed to have come from from a civicSI with similiar setup. Where can I start checking? I've done all the Hondata recommened mods... RC440s, temp sensor, map relocator, removed JR fuel relay, etc... in addition to all JRSC installation steps and recommended mods. Anyone have a suggestion of where to start?

sounds like the ECU is in limp mode and needs to be tuned on a dyno.

Not sure if it's in limp mode but I'm not getting any check engine light and I can rev past 3300 RPM slowly but if step on it at all it hiccups pretty badly. In limp mode would it totally cut out past 3300?

I'm going to check fuel pressure and get a regulator and see if that helps. Just having trouble getting fuel line fittings to match my fuel pressure sensor and integrate into the fuel filter input.

Honda Ghandi should be able to help you out with it as well.

Fuel pump? I had to replace mine when I went to 10 lbs of boost. My red light stays on all the time and it works fine, but I'm still operating off of the base map, I go to the dyno next week. .006-.007 for intake, .007-.008 is for exhaust. Did you get rid of the JR FMU? I just use the stock FPR. You may want to PM Honda Ghandi, he's really on top of all the Hondata stuff and helped me a lot.
