ohh this reminds me, on Sunday I think it was I was driving to the Airport and I saw the coolest car fire eva. It was an Oldsmobile Bravada and the entire thing was just engulfed (sp?) in flames. Drove passed it right when the fire department was about to spray it. On my way back out they had to close E-470 though so I was stuck in that for a good 10 minutes.

anyways, cool car, you gonna buy it?:D

2) $4-5k because those ricers drove the price up

It's both VTEC and Type-R, therefore it's overrated by ricers which causes it to be overpriced. But they can go ahead and spend that kind of money for 195hp and 130 ft-lbs, that's their own dumb fault.

I've extended the definition of "ricer" to include anyone who's clueless but claims to be some expert about "performance" and "racing"... In other words, someone who reads something like Import Racer, thinks that everything in there was written by god himself, and goes off rambling about it to any person who comes within 100ft. So, a lot of people are considered ricers.

They've already got a bid over $1500 and I doubt a ricer would be buying it,I'm sure it'll be bought by somebody with real plans for it.

Thanks for the compliment, but I'm afraid that's not the case, and it's not really relevant to this discussion anyway. Also, I have repeatedly stated that the LS was pretty lacking in power and that I had to rev the piss out of it just to get decent acceleration; that's with I/H/E, it was noticably less powerful when it was stock. So, I don't know why you're acting like I said it was some Ferrari killer or something, but go ahead and continue to just make crap up, it keeps things interesting.

Ryanman: what is it that I call people ricers for buying, but I also have on my car? Admittedly, I do have clear front turn signals, but I've never called anyone a ricer for that unless they have blue or another inappropriate/illegal color for bulbs (mine are yellow). The stock 94-97 turn signals are ugly because they're half orange, so I went with a cleaner look for my white car. Other than that and my tint, everything that I've added has a performance function. Now who's going to be the first brainiac to tell me that my Type-R wing is rice because it's pointless to hold down the rear on a FWD car? :rolleyes:

Well, first of all, I never said that anyone who wants a Type-R swap is a ricer. I just said that it's over rated by ricers and that's why it's so expensive compared to other engines. You should work on learning to understand what people are actually saying before you get offended and make a fool of yourself.

Well, duh! Some people see the humor in it, some think it's cool that I got a drive wheel off the ground (no matter how I did it), and some like it for both. It's open for interpretation... It's not like I posted a caption that says "look at what a great racer I am", and if I did, it would be more sarcastic than anything.

And by the way, here's a clue (since you obviously don't have one): if you've never hit a cone, then you're not going fast enough. Autocross is about precision, and you have to get as close to certain cones as possible. But you obviously know it all, so why don't you come out and show me how it's done? Of course, I know you wont... you're just a trash talking e-thug, and talking shit without backing it up is the only thing you know how to do.

I remember you... iirc, I placed 3rd or 4th in our group of 4, but so what. That was my first time there and it's no secret that go carts are a lot different from real cars.

Autocross isn't about the car so much, so that thinking on his part only goes to make me more confident about the results. But we'll never see this happen anyway... It will forever be "coulda woulda shoulda" BS'ing with no point other than him trying to change the argument because he thinks that having the faster car or being the better driver means that he will win an argument about something entirely different. But, I'll play along... I dare him to show up to the next autocross because 1) I know he wont show, and 2) I'm not worried if he does.
