After having the car for a while how is it? Are you still happy with the purchase? Do they have any reliability issues? I'm thinking of getting a base with a 6 speed if I can swing the payment. Anything I should be aware of?

I know that Brian Mudd has had a transmission put in. Other than that he loves it. He did say he would get a Enthusiast if he did it again (that way you get the limited slip, xenon headlights) instead of the track.

Mark, i'll get in touch with you and see what your friend can do.

I'm looking at the base because I have absolutly no plans of modding the car or racing the car.

They're not THAT bad. A G35 6-speed Coupe with leather starts at $32,995 including destnation & handling. They've probably been out long enough now that you can negotiate down from there, especially going into the winter season.

Yeah, I thought last time I checked, the G35 coupe is cheaper than the Z.

I've thought about that, but all the SUV's I like are around 40-50k

You guys are right, I was actually thinking of the lexus coupe (SC I believe). Anyhow I don't want to spend more than 26-29k on a vehicle since i'm saving for a house

Well, if you're saving for a house, maybe you should hold off on the car until after you buy the house.

They compare your expenses(credit card debt, financing debts, etc) to what you make and determine how much you qualify for. I'm sure you already know that.

My credit score is awesome anyway, plus my debt to income even with the new car would still be fine. That's why I don't want to spend more than high 20's for the car.

Save up for that house before the market goes back up. One of the better invesments you can have. You will love it more than a different car :)

My dad got a 350z Enthusiast model and he really likes it. Believe me it is worth it to get an enthusiast. The lights are HID and not Xenon. That car handles and stops with ease. The engine feels good, but it leaves me wanting more everytime I drive it.
