There are sometimes, but not always. When there is one on the track at the same time you are just pull off to the pits and let him pass then get back on, or just pull out till he's done.

Hrmmm...because I'm going to be inexperienced lol.
Do a lot of people attend because I've always wanted to try out a roading track.

I think I might head out there in preparation for the next SCCA Solo Trials... any idea which direction they're going to run? I'm hoping for counter-clockwise...

usually they run it clockwise, but If you get everyone to agree to run counter clockwise and tell the track manager I think they'll run it counter clockwise.
djet820, usually there isn't alot of people, but you never know people can just show up. You should show up it will be fun.

Hmmm, if I dont have anything going that day I may show up and waste another set of stock pads. Might as well finish off the rest of the tires too.

this will be a good test to see if the caliper paint holds to the high temps.
You should come Tobi, I haven't seen you at SCR since last year

Lets find a empty parking lot and do a few donuts. :D
My rears are almost gone also, we can get it on film.

...
It doesn't (http://www.vmac.org/~weston/teg/Misc/2003-06-14/Blistered%20Caliper.jpg). That's 1200 degree paint, but I did happen to have large flames coming from the brakes (the adhesive backing on the shims caught fire), so I'm sure that heated things up a bit more than normal.

You should see my rears...and hear them too. I think I'm down to nothing because it squeaks so loud
