1. Take the stereo faceplate out of your car.
2. If you have decals, purchase the window-clingy type, so you can remove them and re-apply them later. Remove all decals.
3. Purchase a performance muffler with a stock-looking tailpipe. Then purchase a tip. Remove the tip off the pipe.
4. If you have aftermarket wheels, KEEP THE STOCK ONES! Put the stock ones on.
5. To avoid theft, never put a body kit or ridiculous spoiler on in the first place!
6. (may sound weird, but it works) Pour mud over the car.
7. Place red tape on the tail lights, even though they aren't cracked.

This is the most retarded I've ever seen. You want to know what works:
don't buy a Honda.
That's the only thing that works for sure. Guess what... it's not the body kit or wheels that attracts the thiefs here - it's the turbo kit and engine swaps. Look at all the cars stolen here. God damn, at least use your brain when you try to be smart.

i'm sure that because we are on a predominantly honda board that we here the most about hondas. In all actuality, the most stolen vehicle in America right now is the 2001 - 2003 Cadillac Escalade.

There's plenty of WRX's, 350Z's, and other cars too - a good share is Honda's, but there are many other cars as well.

We've had like 6 Honda's, 3 Integras, and a MR2 stolen in just the recent months. I don't need a silly fact sheet to tell me anything. The posts and stripped pics speak for themself.

its a 2002 fact sheet. im sure some of those cars have changed since. the reason you only here about the acuras and hondas is because alot of us have hondas and acuras. i dont think anyone on this board has 1996 DODGE NEON, 1997 FORD F150 4X4 and 2000 DODGE INTREPID wich are the top three cars.

Put an anchor on it. Even if you put in a hidden fuel shutoff, the car can be put on a flatbed.

Just do what I do. Watch where the hell you park. Make an entrance when the place you're parking is patrolled. I make a scene, then security comes up and I apologize. This way they know to keep an eye on me when I come out and if they see anyone else around my car they can bust them. My bike almost got stolen at Wal mart from my special little parking spot. I was looking for my keyhole and a police car pulled up in front of me and I had to show my registration and license. They said that some kid was sitting on it with a screwdriver in his hand, so security asked if he had the key so he could move it to a regular spot and the kid took off.

I am leaving my car at my high school overnight so I can work on it tomorrow, needs a valve adjustment, so I had to pick up a valve cover gasket. The loud ticking gets annoying after a while.
Anyway, this is what I did:
1. Took the CD player outta the car
2. Took everything out of compartments, cleaned it.
3. Took off my windshield banner, because it could attract theives
4. Took CAI off and put stock intake on
5. Took the chrome exhaust tip off (very easy to steal)
6. Took distributor main wire off
7. Left car in 1st gear, put parking brake on EXTRA tight
8. Locked all doors
9, Took ECU fuse out.

All of which wont do any thing if they use a flat bed :(.... I've watched cars get towed from our apartment complex with all 4 tires locked.... the tow trucks were in and out in 3 minutes, and thats with out trying

That gives me an idea.....They should have wheel anchors built into the ground of the parking lot where a steel bar comes up and around the inside of the rim. That way, they can't be taken, when used w/ wheel locks
invest in a boot for your car?

I think the best way is to have that South African Alarm system legalized. You know....the one where it shoots out flames if someone is trying to tamper with your ride. Like the song, "he don't need no water, let the motherfucker burn. BURN MUTHAFUKKA BURN!!!!!!!"
