View Full Version : not much tech.....windows arnt working for some reason

I just got my aurora tinted and the keyless entry didnt work, I checked the other keyless entry and that didnt either, so I thought it was the tint or maybe they did something, but a few hours later they worked. Now I just tried to roll down the windows, but they are all not working, even the moonroof. I was wondering if the tint isnt dried up that this may cause it.

sounds like an electrical problem, the tint wouldn't have anything to do with keyless entry, if the tint wasn't dry it could mess it up rolling the windows down, but they should still work

yea I know, it was weird, both entries didnt work but a little later they did

maybe they got some water in to the electrical switches and it need to dry up?

Take it back to the place that y ou got the tint.

The tint has nothing to do with it. The tint process however, may have everything to do with it. Depending on what they did with your door panels, that may or may not have been the problem. If they took them apart then it would make sense that water got in there and jammed some of the crap. I would definitely take it back to the shop that did your windows for you. That's never happened to me...except for a few H2's that didn't work right off the bat, even before I touched them lol.
