Good call on the interior, also I noticed the pull out style antenna above the drivers side door. The black trim above the windows also looks familar.

EDIT: Also, I don't think real Evos have the gay looking widebody fenders in the back, but I could be wrong. I don't think it's boxy enough as a whole either.

Thats just a ghetto ass car with a ghey bodykit. Its nowhere close to being a normal Lancer even...forget it being in the same neighborhood as the Evo.

Good call on it being a Civic. I thought it was a Mirage, but the A-pillar and doors gave it away.

Huh, I guess it does have that awkward rear fender flare. After seeing the pics of a real one, I'm kind of impressed.

That's a fairly okay replica, but you notice things when you Fall in love with EVO's ever since seeing Jackie Chans 'Thunderbolt' in '95. The headlights are off of a car similar to the EVO called the Carisma(don't know if I spelt it right), 1.8t AWD and 1.8 FWD. The offset of the wheels are too far in to denote use of larger hubs and brakes. All EVO's(maybe not EVO 7,8) came with 2 piece fronts which consisted of the bumper and the lower lip. Another great movie with an EVO vs. Impreza battle is a chinese movie called 'Legend of Speed'. Movie sucked ass, the race sequences are pretty good.

I think that "EVO" started life as a Mirage;they do sell kits to mimic the EVO for those.

That's true and false. In asia, all the 4dr Mirages were called Lancers (In Austalia the 2dr was called Lancer and HB's were Mirages). This didn't mean that they were all AWD turbo, but more like those shitty Lancers we have running around now. The Evolution was the start of a new technology. Basically it was the Galant VR4 AWD turbo engine uprated and similar AWD drivetrain fitted into a smaller compact body. Thus the Moniquer "Lancer Evolutuion". The Evolution 2 had a slight aero wing added and Evo 3 Came with improved aero and a much stiffer chassis and so on.

IT WAS... when i was in the middle east and europe... theold mirages were the same look body as the Lancer EVO's.... kinda like how the lancer is like the new EVO.... but then it changed sorta... the mirage kept changing while the EVO stayed sorta the same with minor changes...

It's a Mirage,I've seen decent conversions done over on DSMTalk but still kinda crappy.

it's a Mirage with Evo body panels.

Everyone knows the Lancer and the Mirage share almost the same body, right? The Mirage is what the base model Lancer was called until recently in the US.
A far cry from an Evo GSR, but still... it's possible to convert Mirage bodies to Evos without a lot of effort... only difficulty is the drivetrain...
