Ok, I here is the diagram I am gonna be using... however, I'd like to add in an LED so I know when it is activated or not. Where should I put it as far as the loop goes?

Anywhere, in the wire that gets power when the switch is tripped.
So i guess that would be after the switch.

That's the cool thing... because they can cut the wires all they want - the system will still be disabled.

I know - but it isn't a 100% fool proof device here - it's just like all the others... 'anti-theft DETERENT'. :)

I hate it when people use that 'if people really want it they will get it line'. Of course, it is like that with everything, so, what should you do, just leave the doors unlocked? No, you take measures to make it more difficult for people. Each line of security you add, makes it that much less enticing for a theif.

:werd: It's so true... I mean, I spent $10 on supplies at Radio Shack... if I spent $500 on a security system and my car was stolen, then I'd really be pissed. Problem is, this will probably work better than any security system out right now. That's the sad part.

that is so true...and in more ways then most people realize. its all about adding enough obstacles so that your everyday joe fauker would be like, "...damn what do i do now...".
