Well I finally ran the STi. Mods being removed/hacked intake silencer mod and TXS bleeder valve (that comes with the UTEC) to get an average of 14psi (peak at 15psi and taper down to 13.5psi by redline... stock boost levels). I weighed in that night with everything including stereo(amp and sub), spare/jack, half tank of gas and myself at 3510lbs as well.

I guess I can officially say the STi is easier to launch. I will just let the timeslips do the talking.

1st run (car was a little hot and ambient temps ~70F):
60' - 1.967
1/8 - 8.84
1/8 - 78.57mph
1/4 - 13.84
1/4 - 96.4mph

2nd run (car was nice and cool and ambient temps ~68F):
60' - 1.835
1/8 - 8.617
1/8 - 78.87mph
1/4 - 13.57
1/4 - 99.18mph

3rd run (car was cool again and ambient temps around ~62F):
60' - 1.801 (OH YEAH baby [heh])
1/8 - 8.587
1/8 - 78.91mph
1/4 - 13.59
1/4 - 96.15mph (Missed 5th gear ... DOH... shifting into 5th is a little 'tricky' [heh]).

I kept the DCCD in auto all night since I only got 3 runs in I wanted to go for consistency on the hardware/settings side.

Nice work, take all your stereo stuff out next time and you might be able to shave 2-3 tenths off, remember 100lbs usually means a .1

You have to shift to 5th??? The car is not geared high enough to run the traps in 4th, wow. I'm trapping upwards of 110 in 4th with room - my gears and final drive ratios are stock, and so is my tire size.

Nice times, of course!

I don't think his stereo weighs 2-300lbs.:)

Tell me about it :). In my WRX 3rd would go up to 95-97ish and 4th would go to 120-125 or so.

Yah I would say maybe 100lbs tops for everything audio in my car. I was running slightly more than 1/2 tank of gas with jack and spare which add up a bit.

Are you going to modify the STI as much as you did the WRX? :D

No definitly not. I mean to get to this level I had to do a STG4 TXS equivalent kit on a WRX. I will probably do a 3" catless exhaust and preferably a COBB reflash/dyno tune in SLC next summer.
