Would the turbo kit for the D16 safely work on my D15B8?

If the exhaust manifolds are the same, I'd imagine most of it would bolt up with no problem...

I'd swap out the B8 intake manifold for a B7 or even better, a Z6 one. The CX intake manifold is dinky. The intake tubing is about the size of exciv2002's yummy raver girl's wrist.

A cx will last boosted for maybe a day. The rods are like tooth picks. If you want to boost a sohc than buy a d16z6 for around $100-$700 it will be the funnest mod to youre civic if you dont have alot of money.

this is sumthin i posted a long time ago

I have seen you post asking questions about SOHC turbo and d16z6. I am doing the same thing but I have already swapped my z6 in. The z6 in good working order can handle 10psi of boost and be reliable. At this altitude I am going to push 12psi because I am crazy and have a few spare d16's lying around. To run at that psi you will need to have a good fuel set up.

On swapping the z6 please don’t spend a lot of money doing this. Don’t pay someone a thousand dollars for just bolting it up. It took one friend and me 2 days because I did not have all the parts and I had a broken leg. Make shure you’re swap comes with the stock harness it make it easier. You can use you’re stock mounts and shift linkage. If you car is a 92 you will have to do no wiring at all.

An alternative to the z6 is a jdm d15b it is a d15 with a z6 head you still can find parts easy and it is cheap. Link to info http ://asia.vtec.net/article/d15b/

For the swap you will need.
1. Engine and transmition
2. p28 ecu can be found between $100-$150
