View Full Version : pace setter
I was thinking about getting a pacesetter exhaust and header. I was just wondering if any one had heard anything about these and if anyone could offer opinions.
thanks

If you still want to get it, I'd suggest layering on some high temperature paint so it wont rust as quickly.
i unfortunatly don't have enough for a 600 dollar exhaust. if any of you guys know of anythig that would work better for around 200 dollars, i would be willing to listen to suggestions.

Pacesettter is the worst product you can buy. They don't make any power, they smoke when you first have them on, and sound like shit. Save your money for a real exhaust system. Also, ask around local muffler shops to see how much it would csot to make a mandrel bent exhaust. Usually they aren't too expensive.

Paceshitter is horrible.. they rust within a couple of months, they don't do much, AVOID them - save up for either a good header or good exhaust... don't do two shitty products.

what car, a delslo? You could probably find a apex WS (if they still make it for your car  ) for about $400... its not $200, but then again, its not crap either. I saw a dyno test in a magazine once where a pacesetter exhuast actually decreased power from stock.
