yes .....ill be there. so i had problems getting off the line last time i was up there. traction. this time ill probably bring my 13 vx wheels and deflate them to 20-25 psi. and ofcourse ill try launching out at a lower rpm than last time. anything else i should try when im up there?


ps. what is a good time to be up there?

Get up there by at least 4:00. That way you can have plenty of time to make your runs, cool off if needed, and look at playboys and Maxims with the rest of us. ;)

djet820 - these questions have been asked MULTIPLE times, as a matter of fact, EVERY time a Club Clash announcement has been made this year, and they've always been answered. This CC is no different - $30 entry, guaranteed 3 runs if you show up by 4:00 or 5:00. Two dial ins, then 1st round of eliminations, and that's as far as I've been this year. I'm 4 for 4 in 1st round losses, but I still have fun.

And I intend to be there this time too -- I just bought a 3/16" piece of aircraft cable and some clamps to nail down that stupid differential of mine. Maybe I can plant the 60's a little better now without worrying I'm gonna rip it off the mount.

My car is kicking a little smoke on hard shifts so I dont wanna push it too hard till Tobi check her out, I really wanna get more points for the club since I hope I did pretty well last outing. I know a few of my friends want to go again as well.

celica man, I ran a best of 15.4@88 last time up there and pulled a 2.250 60 ft with the Falkens @ 27 psi. I have the same motor you do.

Well, it looks like I'm going to be chained to the wall at work again. It's NEVER enough for these people. If I get out early enough, I'll be there again like last time, COUNT ON IT. If not, I'll be home hitting the weights trying to get myself out of that hellhole earlier.

Get there before 5 and you should get both of your trial runs. What does your car look like?

Just look for the these cars:
Blue SI (99)
Burnt Orange 350Z
Black 280Z (old style)
White Integra (2nd generation)
Red Toyota 4Runner (maybe)
White Civic hatchback (the old boxy kind)
Yellow Type R
Red Evo (maybe)
Another Blue Si (99) maybe
Oh yeah, and a BIG ass Ford power stroke diesel duely with a toper. It is white and has an unmissable purpole stirpe on the bottom.

If anyone has the opportunity, can you bring a 9/16" wrench or socket. My driveshaft is turning on the top half of my driveshaft loop - I need to remove the top half so my driveshaft doesn't hit it (it is too close, about 3/8"). I hope I don't break it :eek:

im pretty happy with my performance. i beat a ss camaro first round. i beat that weird looking car that looked like a fwd because of the tires, but was a old rwd car(if you were there, you know which one im talking about). and i lost to a liquor store owner with corvette conections in the third round. not bad for my first time at c.c.. my best was a 16.178............woo hoo
