Well last nite while driving home from my dorm, I tried to roll my window up (I had it down) and well it would only roll up only about 3/4 way up. The window had had a hard time rolling up even before and it rolled up really slowly, but stopped 3/4 way up. Well I checked it out later and foudn that when the window rolls up, it is caught inbetween the rubber water sealer and another plastic rubber close to the outside of the car. (trying hard to use adjectives, so you guys can see the pic; i dont have a digicam). Well when I roll the window down all the way, I can move the window foward and backwards slightly; or when I turn/hit a bump I can hear the window moving inside of the door. If you guys can provide any info, it would be greatly appreciated. x a bunch.

Just take out the door panel and see what's gotten loose or broken.

My car did the same thing. The windos runs up and down on a metal track. Inside the metal track is the rubber cushioning/seal that keeps the window in its place. The window some how ended up out of the rubber cushioning and is not following the track correctly. To fis it roll your window down so 3-4 inches is still sticking up, then rock the window back and forth till it falls back in the track.............it will take a little force and manuvering.

Also check to see if the weatherstripping/rubber cushioning is broken. If it is broken replace it. Also if you have a replacement window it might not be the same thickness as OEM. This happened to me after my car got broken into.
