Shiv is a total assclown. Everyone who has actually GONE FAST, and a lot of people who haven't, know it. Oh, surprise surprise, Weston the giant pussy shows up. First of all, my car is not fast. Secondly my car is such a small portion of what I do and what I am about. I'd say cars are about 5% of my life right now. I wish it was 10% but I don't have the time.

Luckily my 1/4th mile time has nothing to do with my ability to recognize an idiot or a complete pussy. It also has nothing to do with the knowledge of cars I can regurgitate on command. I was talking about club clash at our local track Bandimere. On another board, someone was telling me that he thought I was smart until he learned that I raced a 17 second car. I tried to explain to him that the I wasn't racing to "live my life at a quarter mile at a time," but to compete against other racers in an organized bracket racing event. The $30 dollars I was referring to is the cost of racing in each event.

I can understand how my post was random and confusing, so let me try to summarize it for you.

BRacket racing (like autocross) allows much slower cars to be competive with much faster cars (I'm sure you already know this). So even bringing up the point that my car (or anyone else's) is really a moot point because it has nothing to do with how well you do. He won two national championships in it, and would win pretty much every local event too, even beating higher classed cars in raw times. All with FWD and a mere 1.8 liters. I still disagree about the Vishnu thing but I think it is a matter of opinion though. And Vishnu Just released a kit for the STi that cranks out 375 HP at the wheels for only 2000$. That is on the much debated low reading Vishnu dyno too. That is well over 400hp at the flywheel. People who have ridden in them come back changed. They say it will break the tires loose anywhere in first or second and accellerates just like a superbike. Just a piggyback and exhaust.

I don't ride Vishnu's jock and gotta say that they need some work on the business end. But I have had Vishnu parts on my WRX since the beginning and have had one of the quickest WRXes around for quite a while. The car runs very consistent 13.3-13.4 at 103-4(12.6 with giggle gas),low egts,81%IDC, under 1100 EGT, and no knock :D . I am a happy camper. The only problem I have had was blowing the transmission when I tried to launch with 100 shot. The motor didn't mind a bit.

Anyhow, Batman, some people here, (who spend 90% of their time thinking about cars), miss you, and you should post more, unless it makes you want to really kill people (you could end up in jail ,where bad things happen to spinchters), and show up at the meet on Sunday. You forgot the crappy homemade ball and spring boost controller- so you can "safely" crank up the big ass turbo to somewhere between 15 and 25 psi. And you probably don't need exhaust either. Just have your local muffler shop make a custom catless 3" exhaust for under 200$. I want to put that under my 25K$ baby! We can go to Home Depot and tune our brand new cars.

FYI- There are only 4 WRXes that have ever run a 12 second quarter mile up here (not including EASY STREET) and I hold the record for highest trap speed of all right now. There is a group of us about 40 strong who regularly race WRXes at the strip and my car is faster than all but one. I guess you are too busy working and fabricating custom parts or toooning etc... to drag race or post your times(trying not to imply anything here), but I am curious as to what ETs you have pulled out of your VF30 down there at sea level?

My et's suck and my 18's slowed me down teh best 60ft i pulled was a 1.8 which is crap to me (this was when i finally put the stock wheels back on) my best quarter was 12.9 @ just over 100mph which is crap, my tune was crap and everything was crappy. It was 110 degrees and I had a few nice hot texas heat soaking runs and my last run I pulled my best ET, and to me it was crap. I was not impressed with my setup. But my next one will be gear liquifying. Those are pretty decent times you pulled, i do give you props. Like I said you can be faster. Now I need to take a dump. Peace.
