FOR F*CKS SAKE!!

You know, sometimes the littlest issue you are trying to fix on your car can be the biggest pain in the ass.

I had an exhaust hanger bolt come out on me sometime in the past month or so. Today I go up to home depot and get the bolt I need and I run home so I can bolt it back up as I really don't want the exhaust resting or coming close to resting on the axle.

So, I get home and spend probably 30 mins crammed as far under my car as I can get without jacking it up, to no avail. Then, just when I get the bolt in and am trying desperately to turn the bolt so it'll stay, the other bolt on the same hanger comes flying off. :mad: Now, I've got no hanger holding up that part of the exhaust!!!!

By this point though, my arm hurts so bad from trying to manuever/push up/tighten the bolt all at the same time that I'm just like fuck it. ARRRGGG!!!

And you know what the rediclulous thing is? I'd probably much rather tear the damn engine out of the car, because it wouldn't be nearly the akward pain in the ass these two little bolts are!!!

Sorry, I just needed to rant.

Oh, and keep in mind, you just can't jack up the MKIV VW all that easily.:guns: :guns:

Who put the exhaust on? They should be willing to fix it for free if it was some time recently.

That's exactly what I did. For some reason I always thought they were much more expensive than $20 I paid for em.

I got it put on like a year ago, and we didn't remove the hanger at all when we did the install. I think they just weren't put on tight enough by VW in the first place.

Problem solved though, thanks to Ramps!
