Sorry this has to be my first post to these forums.

This morining, between trips to my car, to load my stuff from the hotel room, someone decided to take off in my Acura. I hadn't even been back to my room for ten minutes. When I went back out to the parking lot, I was in shock. It was if it hadn't even been there to begin with. He must have jacked the ignition. I had $500+ worth of art supplies. Paints, brushes, drafting equipment, GONE. I am so pissed.

It happened at the Hilton Garden Inn, by the airport in Denver. It's a red 1998 Integra LS, stock fin. If I find the thief, I'll beat him 'till he's comatose from internal bleeding. DAMN, this sucks.

Sorry to hear about your car. The crime in that area has sky rocketed. They claim they have boosted up security in that area, but i don't see it.

Good luck in recovering the car along with all the supplies and welcome to HAI.

Yea man, I dont know how I would handle my car being stolen. The feeling of anger would overshadow everything else. (and I extremly mad when I got "hit and run". Sucks, Hope that you find your car and best wishes.

Sorry about your car man..we have people who are into stealing integras right here on HAI, so its pretty safe to say that your car isnt safe anywhere. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did..and it will show up.

Sorry to here that, don't think you'll have much luck though. Sure it is only a frame by now. Did you have full coverage at least?

Yeah, but my insurance company's being a little bitch about paying. Stay clear of Titan.

Stay away from those kind of insurance places. Most high risk (not saying that Titan is) places will screw you when you file a claim.

Well, they found it. No damage at all to the engine, drivetrain, or wheels. They completely cleaned out the interior...well, all but the dash, but I'll probably change that anyways, as I've found replacement interior, and want the color to match. The old stuff was black, but I've found a totaled '96 with tan, and the salvage yard says I can have the entire interior for slightly less than $300, which isn't bad. The outside of the car is trashed, so the outer parts are no good, but the innards are still intact.

Other than that, they took the front and rear fenders, front quarter panels, hood, and lights.

They didn't cut any wires, while removing the interior which is odd, and they didn't damage what they didn't take. They also put all my books and art supplies back in the car when they were finished.

Nonetheless, a concientious crook is still a crook, and I'll beat them, severely, if I find them......

Rather than wait for the insurance company to do their job, I'll fix it now, myself, then bleed them for it, later.

I found one set of interior for just under $300, but would still like to see others. I still have a black dash, but don't mind swapping for a diferent color, and also need replacement body parts. I wouldn't mind a different headlight design (I think I've seen a few headlight sets, from Preludes, on Integras). If anyone knows of any good salvage yards or honest shops (emphasis on honest, 'cause I don't buy stolen parts), lemme know. Also, if anyone's got advice on what headlight kits will work on the Integra, and which ones don't, lemme know.

If it were a GSR, you'd get it back motorless.
