I got pulled over today... doing 60 in a 45, god damn officer was ready to give me a 4 pt ticket. :( Luckily he was a resource officer at the schooland recognized me, so he let me off 'cuz he wanted to go home'. That's some scary shit.. time to get a radar detector. :D

Heh, well, my lesson was learned. :D He didn't have his radar on or anything, didn't use sirens, didn't look for license/registration.. just lookin to scare the shit out of me. :eek:

Yea, well by time he saw me I was only doing 50mph, so I dunno... I'll just drive the speed limit, and won't bother going higher if they are so pissy about 5mph.

I know it's hard to resist but getting a fair number of tickets at your age will really really screw you in insurance. A turbo might seem like an affordable idea now, but after a few tickets you wouldn't even consider it. Just something to consider.

I know you weren't racing or anything, but the way I see it (and why I don't even play around on the streets anymore) is that if you get caught racing you are fucked... plain and simple. Especially if your still in school. It's amazing how much the insurance companies will screw you for one little event like that.

Oh yea. I've really only 'street raced' once... and I found that it was just stupid - pointless, it gave me 13 seconds of adrenaline rush with the chance of a ticket and no license... mmm, I'll pass for now. I don't drive like a maniac, I don't go 30 over the limit everywhere, but I don't like to dock at 45 either. ;)

you lucky bastard. Don't lose your license, it sucks hardcore. mostly at our age, insurance costs $188 a month just for liability.
